Mitchell Greenberg, M.D.

Dr. Mitchell Greenberg, M.D., M.S. is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical management of cataracts, glaucoma, anterior segment conditions and complete ophthalmic treatment. Dr. Greenberg prides himself in providing patients the most advanced surgical care with cutting-edge technology and novel technique.

Dr. Greenberg is originally from Chicago, Illinois and obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. After completing a Master’s of Biological Sciences, he earned his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois.

Upon graduation, he completed a medical internship at the University of Central Florida and ophthalmology residency at the esteemed John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. During this time, he provided medical and surgical rehabilitation for tens of thousands of underserved, low-resource patients.

Dr. Greenberg has also been actively involved in medical research. He has authored three book chapters on anterior segment ophthalmic diseases and numerous additional research studies, which have been presented at national and international conferences.

Dr. Greenberg is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. He is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to serving the community with professional ophthalmic care. Outside of ophthalmology, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son as well as playing golf and tennis.
